Collier County Sheriff’s Office: Phone, Jail, Records & Services

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office covers a very large and geographically diverse part of Southwest Florida. A resident in Naples may be dealing with a different Sheriff facility than someone in Immokalee, while an incident inside the City of Naples or Marco Island can involve a municipal police department rather than CCSO.

This guide separates those routes. You can use it to find a current arrest or warrant, identify the correct jail, verify bond, schedule visitation, send inmate money or mail, request a Sheriff report, serve civil process, recover property, report an inmate-safety concern or reach the correct CCSO division without relying on an outdated directory.

Independent informational website: CountySheriffsOffice.org is not operated by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Collier County government, Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Florida Department of Law Enforcement or Florida Department of Corrections.
Address correction: the current Sheriff website identifies CCSO Headquarters as 3319 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112. Older pages and third-party directories may show 3315 Tamiami Trail East. Use the current agency page and the service-specific location below before travelling.

Which Collier County Service Should You Use?

CCSO maintains different numbers for inmate information, warrants, records, civil process, victim services and evidence. Starting with the correct unit usually saves more time than calling the main line repeatedly.

Local jurisdiction matters

What the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Handles

CCSO provides law-enforcement, corrections, judicial-process, emergency communications and community-safety services across a county that the Sheriff describes as spanning roughly 2,305 square miles.

That size matters. A person arrested near Naples can be housed in Immokalee, and someone arrested around Immokalee can be moved to the Naples Jail Center. CCSO says housing decisions are based on security and inmate needs rather than which jail is closest to home.

Naples and Marco Island are important jurisdiction exceptions

The CCSO online citizen-report system specifically says eligible Sheriff reports must involve incidents outside the Naples and Marco Island city limits. The City of Naples maintains its own Police Department, while Marco Island also has municipal law-enforcement services.

That means an arrest can end with the person in a Collier County jail even though the original police report belongs to another agency.

Bonita Springs is not in Collier County. Bonita Springs is in Lee County and law-enforcement service there is handled through the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Do not use a Collier County page simply because Bonita Springs is close to Naples.
After opening the CCSO online reporting page:
  1. Confirm the incident is not an emergency.
  2. Confirm there is no known suspect currently present.
  3. Confirm the incident occurred in Collier County outside Naples and Marco Island city limits.
  4. Confirm you meet the age and reporting requirements.
  5. Use 911 instead if a crime is in progress or immediate response is needed.
Current custody and wanted persons

How to Search Collier County Arrests and Warrants

The Sheriff provides one official search route for arrest and warrant information. CCSO itself warns that this public database is a convenience tool and should not replace a formal public-record request when accuracy is critical.

Open the CCSO Arrest and Warrant Search. Use the Sheriff database before paying a private records site.
Accept the search terms. Read the agency warning about accuracy and final case disposition.
Search by name or booking date. A surname search can help when the full-name spelling is uncertain.
Open the correct result. Compare identity, date and arrest information carefully.
Save the arrest number and court identifiers. You may need them for jail deposits, records or court follow-up.
Check the Clerk for final disposition. CCSO explicitly says the arrest database does not show final guilt, innocence, dismissal or acquittal.
After opening the official CCSO Arrest and Warrant Search page:
  1. Choose Today’s Arrests for the newest daily intake information.
  2. Use Search for an Arrest or Warrant for a specific person.
  3. Verify the identity before sharing or acting on the result.
  4. Record the arrest number and case information.
  5. Use the Collier Clerk for later court disposition.
CCSO’s own fraud warning: the Sheriff says it does not solicit bond or fine payments and bond cannot be paid by phone. Do not send money during an unsolicited warrant or bond call.

Warrant-specific contact

The Fugitive Warrants Bureau publishes office hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be reached at 239-252-9655. After hours, call 239-252-9300 when you have information about a wanted person.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers accepts anonymous tips at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).

Do not confront a wanted person. Report useful location information to law enforcement. If you believe a warrant may be for you, verify the associated case and consider speaking with a Florida criminal-defense attorney.
Two jail centers

Naples Jail Center vs. Immokalee Jail Center

Collier County operates two jail centers. The location where someone was arrested does not guarantee where they will be housed.

Local housing detail: CCSO specifically explains that inmates arrested in Naples can be housed in Immokalee and people arrested around Immokalee can be housed in Naples. Classification and security needs—not distance from the inmate’s home—control the placement.
Release and first appearance

Collier County Bond: Confirm the Amount Before Paying

The Sheriff currently describes three basic ways to post an eligible monetary bond:

  • Cash: the full required bond amount.
  • Cashier’s check: the full required amount.
  • Surety bond: through a bonding company.

Bond can change after a first-appearance hearing or another court order, and another hold can prevent release even after one bond is posted.

The Collier Clerk explains that a person arrested on criminal charges generally appears before a judge within about 24 hours. The judge advises the defendant of the allegations and addresses release/bail when appropriate.

Find the arrest record. Save the arrest number and court case information.
Call the correct jail. Confirm the present bond amount and eligibility.
Ask about every hold. A second case or outside detainer can delay release.
Verify the court case. Use the Collier Clerk for current filed charges and court orders.
Use an approved payment method. Never pay an unsolicited caller by telephone.

Pretrial Supervision

CCSO also operates Pretrial Supervision for qualifying defendants who are ordered by the judiciary to be released under supervision, either as a bond condition or without paying monetary bail.

Pretrial Release can be reached at 239-252-9650.

Smart Communications

Collier County Jail Visitation, Calls and Messages

Collier County uses SmartInmate / Smart Communications for electronic messaging, video visitation and inmate communication services.

CCSO currently says inmates receive six onsite visits per week at no charge.

  1. Create your own account using accurate information.
  2. Locate the correct Collier County inmate.
  3. Connect with the inmate.
  4. Apply for video visitation.
  5. Upload the requested government ID.
  6. Wait for jail approval before assuming the visit is confirmed.
  7. Review current provider pricing before buying any paid service.

No-contact orders affect visitation

CCSO says visitation is not permitted when an active no-contact order prohibits contact between the inmate and visitor, including a victim/defendant no-contact situation.

JailATM and Oasis Commissary

How to Send Money or Order Commissary

The Sheriff currently directs family and friends to JailATM for inmate account deposits. You need the inmate’s name, arrest number and location.

CCSO currently publishes a maximum deposit of $300 per week. Its jail page lists a $3.25 fee for a cash transaction, $3.25 for credit-card deposits of $25 or less, and 10% of the deposit for card deposits above $25.

Ordering commissary packages

The Sheriff identifies Oasis Commissary as the company servicing Collier County Jail and links family/friend ordering through Jail Canteen.

After opening JailATM:
  1. Confirm the inmate is still in Collier County custody.
  2. Use the exact name and arrest number.
  3. Select the correct Naples or Immokalee location when requested.
  4. Review the provider fee before completing payment.
  5. Keep the transaction confirmation.
Do not confuse a legitimate inmate deposit with bond. CCSO says bond cannot be paid by telephone. An unsolicited caller asking for immediate bond payment is not the same thing as voluntarily depositing commissary funds through the jail’s approved service.
Scanned personal mail

Collier County Inmate Mail Uses a Seminole, Florida Processing Address

Personal mail for both the Naples and Immokalee jail centers is processed through Smart Communications rather than being mailed directly to the jail street address.

Mail line 1 Smart Communications-Collier County Jail
Mail line 2 Attention To: Inmate Name and ID Number
Mail line 3 P.O. Box 9129
Mail line 4 Seminole, FL 33775-9129

CCSO warns that mail without both the inmate name and ID number is returned to sender.

Regular personal mail is scanned into the Smart Communications system for the inmate to view electronically. Because the physical originals are not returned, the Sheriff advises people to send only copies of photographs or documents they are willing not to receive back.

After opening the official Collier County inmate communications page:
  1. Find the US Postal Mail section.
  2. Confirm the current Smart Communications address.
  3. Write the inmate’s full name and ID number exactly.
  4. Review separate rules for books, magazines and financial instruments.
  5. Do not mail irreplaceable original photographs or documents.
Health, mental health and inmate safety

How Families Can Report Medical or Safety Concerns

CCSO publishes a specific route for families who need to provide medication information or report mental-health concerns about someone incarcerated in the Naples or Immokalee Jail Center.

Call the Naples Jail Center medical route. Use 239-252-9504.
Select the medical option. The exact menu number can change, so listen for “Medical.”
Provide the inmate’s identity. Have the full name and arrest/inmate number when known.
Describe the concern clearly. Include medication names, condition information or immediate behavioral concerns you actually know.
Escalate process problems when necessary. CCSO Behavioral Health Bureau can be reached at 239-252-0949.

Physical or sexual assault / abuse concern

Family members or members of the public who are concerned about physical or sexual assault or abuse involving an inmate can contact the CCSO Professional Responsibility Bureau at 239-252-0920.

Emergency: if there is an immediate life-threatening emergency outside the jail or urgent danger requiring emergency response, call 911.
Court dates and final case outcome

Use the Collier Clerk for Criminal Court Records

The Sheriff arrest database specifically tells users to check the Collier County Clerk for the final disposition of criminal charges.

Collier County Clerk — Criminal Department 3315 Tamiami Trail East, Suite 102, Naples, FL 34112
Criminal Department telephone 239-252-2646

Felony cases are handled in Circuit Court; misdemeanors are handled in County Court. The Clerk also provides online access to many public court records.

After opening the Collier County Clerk website:
  1. Open the court-record search.
  2. Use the case number from the Sheriff arrest result when possible.
  3. Confirm the correct defendant.
  4. Review current docket entries and hearing information.
  5. Use the Criminal Department when you need an official or certified copy.

Requesting a filed criminal document

The Clerk currently publishes a copy price of $1 per page for case documents and an additional $2 per document for certification when a certified copy is requested.

Examples of records the Clerk identifies include booking sheets, court orders, judgments and sentences.

Incident reports and local background checks

How to Request Collier County Sheriff Public Records

The CCSO Central Records Bureau is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., excluding recognized county holidays.

Central Records 239-252-0637
Records email records@colliersheriff.org
Mailing address 3319 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112
Local background check $10 under current published CCSO instructions
After opening the CCSO Records and Background Check page:
  1. Choose the incident-report/public-record request or background-check route.
  2. For an incident record, provide the date, location, involved names and report number when known.
  3. For a local background check, provide the required name and date of birth.
  4. Allow for agency processing and legal review.
  5. Follow the Records Bureau instructions for any payment or mailing requirement.

CCSO currently asks requesters to allow approximately 3–5 business days for an ordinary incident report to reach Central Records and also publishes approximately 3–5 business days for a local criminal-background request.

Local criminal background check

CCSO’s local background check is available for a person age 18 or older and currently costs $10. The person’s name and date of birth are required.

A local CCSO check is not automatically a complete Florida, federal or nationwide criminal-history report.

Arrest photo removal

CCSO states that arrest photographs and arrest information can be removed from its website only through an applicable Florida public-record exemption, court order or expunction. A dismissal or acquittal alone does not automatically remove the Sheriff website entry.

After opening the CCSO arrest-photo guidance:
  1. Read the limited circumstances under which CCSO removes arrest information.
  2. Use the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Seal and Expunge resources for eligibility information.
  3. Use the Collier Clerk to confirm the final disposition of the case.
  4. Do not assume a dismissed case automatically disappears from a public arrest database.

Found, seized or evidentiary property

Getting Property Back From the CCSO Property & Evidence Bureau

Property held as evidence cannot simply be picked up because the case appears finished online. CCSO requires authorization before Property & Evidence staff can release eligible items.

Contact the investigator first. Determine whether the item has been authorized for release.
Obtain the required Property Release Form. The investigator must complete and sign the disposition authorization.
Contact Property & Evidence. Call 239-252-0820 after authorization exists.
Schedule an appointment. CCSO says releases are handled by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Bring current government ID. Property personnel must verify the person receiving the property.

Items located in Immokalee use separate Tuesday appointment arrangements. Firearms or property held because of a specific court order can require additional court documentation before release.

Call before travelling

Collier County Sheriff Fingerprinting Information

CCSO’s dedicated fingerprint page currently says Sheriff fingerprint-card service is offered at 2373 Horseshoe Drive North, Naples, FL 34104, through the west lobby, on:

  • Tuesday: 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
  • Thursday: 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.

The Identification Section phone number is 239-252-0723.

Another CCSO page conflicts with this schedule. The Sheriff’s concealed-weapons information page still shows fingerprint-card service at 3319 Tamiami Trail East on Tuesday and Thursday from noon–4:00 p.m. Because both are official CCSO pages, call 239-252-0723 before travelling and use the current instructions staff give you.

Concealed-carry fingerprinting is different

The dedicated CCSO fingerprint page says concealed-carry applicants can only obtain those application fingerprints through the Tax Collector as part of the complete concealed-license application process.

Collier County Tax Collector 3291 E. Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34112
Telephone 239-252-8077
After opening the current CCSO fingerprinting page:
  1. Identify whether you need an ordinary fingerprint card or concealed-license fingerprints.
  2. Check the location and schedule shown on the live page.
  3. Call 239-252-0723 because CCSO currently has conflicting fingerprint schedules online.
  4. For concealed-license fingerprints, use the Tax Collector route described by CCSO.

CCSO says victim advocates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through its on-call process.

After opening the CCSO Victim & Witness Services page:
  1. Review the services available to crime victims.
  2. Keep the Sheriff case number ready when one exists.
  3. Ask about crime-compensation assistance when appropriate.
  4. Ask about release or transfer notification rights applicable to your case.
  5. Use the after-hours Sheriff number when you need an advocate outside normal office hours.

Collier County Details That Prevent Common Mistakes

  • Use 3319 Tamiami Trail East for current CCSO headquarters. Do not rely on the older 3315 address shown on outdated pages.
  • Check the inmate’s actual jail. Naples arrests can lead to Immokalee housing and vice versa.
  • Do not drive to headquarters for jail visitation. The Naples Jail and Visitation Center use separate addresses.
  • Do not pay bond over the phone. CCSO expressly warns that it never solicits bond or fine payments and bond cannot be paid by phone.
  • Use Smart Communications for personal inmate mail. Ordinary personal letters for both jails go through the Seminole processing address.
  • Use JailATM for inmate deposits. Keep the arrest number and facility ready.
  • Use the Collier Clerk for final case disposition. A Sheriff arrest record is not a conviction record.
  • Use Naples Police for a Naples Police report. A county-jail booking does not convert a city police record into a CCSO record.
  • Call before visiting Civil Process or fingerprinting. CCSO currently publishes conflicting location/hour information on its own pages.
  • Bonita Springs belongs to Lee County. Do not use CCSO simply because the city is geographically close to Collier County.

Editorial review: this guide was rebuilt from current Collier County Sheriff, Collier Clerk and related official resources on September 27, 2026. The audit corrected outdated address information and identified live official-page conflicts involving Civil Process and fingerprinting locations/hours.

Freshness: custody, bond, jail housing, visitation availability, deposit fees, provider systems, civil-process instructions and office locations can change. Recheck the responsible official page immediately before paying or travelling.

Legal and privacy notice: arrest and warrant information can reflect allegations rather than convictions. Juvenile, sealed, confidential, victim, medical, investigative and otherwise protected information may not be publicly available.

FCRA notice: do not use this article, the CCSO arrest database, a Clerk docket or a local background-check result as a substitute for a legally compliant consumer report when making employment, housing, credit, insurance or another eligibility decision governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar law.
